In a few lines, I'm rather weird. I consider this blog as... well... as an entertainement in which I reblog random stuff. Sometimes funny stuff, sometimes more interesting stuff, sometimes my personnal stuff... People who visit this blog should be aware that :
-I don't always act seriously. Posts with no caps or full caps shouldn't be taken as a relevant opinion.
-This Tumblr will contain Hetalia, MSPA, Claymore, Touhou, Pokemon, Kaoru Mori's works, Saint Young Men, some horror games, horror manga, and plenty of other works.
-My art is tagged as "my art." I also hold an artblog called "feasart"
-This is rare but some stuff might be NSFW.
On such, have a good day.
Also, apparently, Spidertroll powers can manipulate God Tier clocks now.
I suppose that the secret message behind this is that Vriska only died because super-secretly and never before shown in canon, she really, really wanted to.
Y’know, that makes perfect sense.
Andrew sure loves to fuck over his own narrative.
God Tier resurrection absolutely needed to be one of those mechanics which was inviolate by any force outside of itself. Yet two out of three times, the results have been forced and done so in some incredibly asinine ways.
Seriously, what is even the point of having a system of conditional immortality when you can cheese the results so fucking easily?
Both dramatically and mechanically, the whole shebang could have been replaced by a firm bonk on the head to put John out of commission during his little encounter with Jack.
You’re right man, what’s the point of having conditional immortality with conditions? Fucking stupid!
The death must be either heroic or just.
TT: How are those terms defined?
Broadly, mysteriously, and according to the case of the individual.
So basically the whole system is somewhat arbitrary, and has been from the beginning. If you didn’t have a problem with it then, why do you have a problem with it now?
The whole immortality system is very broad and incredibly vague, and given all that, isn’t it just really damned lucky that the powers that be read Jade’s death as just?
I agree with you. Jade’s death wasn’t due to Spidertroll powers in action. In fact, I’d say it’s rather Light powers influencing the clock. Jade’s death was called a lucky 8r8k, which implies it must have been a choice between two options : either mind-control doesn’t count and Jade could’ve been saved, either it does count as “corrupted by external forces” and her grimbark mode can be considered as Just.
And in the end, Jade was an unfortunate hero who was the toy of a sadistic Batterwitch and an evil Spidertroll. If you add that to her A2 self being murdered by the Condesce, it’s a double loss. Poor Jade.
